How to get pet hair off a couch in two minutes

1. Take the cushions off and do each one on its own.
2. Hold the brush flat, strip side down.
3. Swipe back and forth in short strokes of 10–15 cm (4–6 in), keeping contact on both strokes.
4. Finish with the seams and the front edge, where fur collects.
5. Twist the body to clear the strip, then empty the chamber over the bin.

Short strokes beat long sweeps. The fur stays in front of the strip instead of spreading across the cushion.

• Twist the body a few times before you put it away, then close the cover.
• Pull any long hairs off the strip by hand.
• Wipe the outside with a dry or slightly damp cloth. Do not soak it in water.
