Sunday Reset Set

Description

Sunday is when the week catches up with you. Fur on the sofa, fur on your coat. And a small dog or cat who would happily come to the café, if carrying them did not mean a wriggling armful and a spilled drink.

This pet care set covers the weekend reset. The steam deshed brush lifts loose fur off the coat before it lands on the furniture. The soft handbag carrier takes your small pet along for the café, the market or the vet, with pockets for everything else. Bought together, the set costs at least 25% less than buying both separately.

Purpose: a pet care set for less fur and easier outings

Small-pet life has two weekend jobs. One is grooming: getting the loose coat off before it ends up on the sofa and your clothes. The other is getting out: taking your pet along without a struggle.

The brush handles the first job in ten calm minutes. The carrier handles the second, with a soft, breathable bag that looks like a tote and sits neatly by your chair.

Why buy them together

Owners of small dogs and cats often need both. Buying them as a set saves at least 25%, and you choose the colour and size of each piece.

What is in the Sunday Reset Set

Soft Handbag Carrier

A soft, handbag-style carrier in Oxford cloth with nylon mesh panels for airflow and a view out. Pockets hold keys, waste bags or a cup, and the fabric wipes clean. It comes in two sizes, about 39 × 17 × 27 cm and 44 × 17 × 29 cm, for small dogs, puppies and kittens. Read more on the handbag carrier page.

Steam Deshed Brush

A rechargeable grooming brush with a small water tank. Press once and a fine spray dampens the coat, so loose hair collects in the teeth instead of floating around the room. It charges by USB and suits cats and dogs who already accept a brush. Read more on the steam deshed brush page.

How the set works

1. Choose a colour and size for the handbag carrier.
2. Choose a colour for the steam deshed brush.
3. Add the set to your bag. Both items go into your cart.
4. The set discount comes off at checkout.

Fit: choosing the carrier size

The small carrier measures about 39 × 17 × 27 cm (length × width × height). The larger one measures about 44 × 17 × 29 cm. Measure your pet sitting down; they should be able to sit and lie down inside.

The brush is one size and works for cats and dogs who already accept brushing. Keep the spray away from eyes, ears and broken skin, and do not use it on mats.

A ten-minute Sunday routine

• Fill the brush tank with clean water.
• Brush your pet on the floor or on your lap, in short strokes with the coat.
• Lift the fur off the teeth and bin it.
• Pack the carrier with waste bags and keys, and head out.

Why these two belong together

Grooming and going out go hand in hand for small pets. A pet brushed before an outing sheds less in the carrier and on your clothes. A short, calm grooming session also settles them before a trip. The brush keeps the house cleaner during the week; the carrier makes the weekend easier. One order covers both.

The day it is for

Sunday reset. Ten quiet minutes on the floor with the brush, loose fur coming away in neat clumps instead of drifting onto the sofa. Then the carrier comes out and your dog hops in. At the café, they watch the street through the mesh while you finally read the paper.

Our guide to deshedding without a full bath sets out a weekly routine, and the soft carrier packing list helps you prepare for short trips.

Care

• Carrier: wipe the inside and the Oxford cloth with a damp cloth; air dry open.
• Brush: empty the tank after each use, wipe the teeth and recharge before the battery runs flat.
